ABOUT
Adam Reid [He/Him] is an interdisciplinary designer and creative innovator. He currently is a Senior Apparel Designer at Nike, where he designs women’s lifestyle product. He received his BA from The University of Pennsylvania in 2017 in Visual Studies, a combination of design practice and perceptual neuroscience. In 2019 Reid went on to pursue a degree in fashion at Parsons School of Design, which he received in 2020. Reid has interned and worked for brands such as adidas, Calvin Klein, and KITH and started his own brand, Hiro Sol in 2016, which has since gone on hiatus.
Adam Reid’s design process focuses on integrating emerging technology and new production methods into identity centered design and storytelling. Reid was featured in the CFDA Future Fashion Graduate Showcase in 2020 for his entirely digital Parsons thesis collection entitled Delicate Masquerade. In recent years, Reid has turned his focus to fashion innovation, specifically using 3D technology (CLO3D) and augmented reality to create new worlds and environments for a more sustainable and accessible fashion industry.
